Growing

I'm ready for borders on my Project Pure quilt.  I'm thinking brown?  Suggestions?  I know I want to do brown minkee on the back.

I'll definitely be making this pattern again!  The question is how much sewing I'll be able to do once the little one comes.  I'm definitely growing!!  Here's Hank with a paw on the baby.  I wonder how much the baby can hear him purring.

I'm partial to no borders on these whirlygiggles. I think just brown binding would fnish it off nicely. Whatever you decide will look great.

Hank looks very proprietary. He'll make sure you take care of his little human :)

Wow, what a lovely quilt. Brown borders would be fantastic.
I'm sure baby can hear the purring, and Hank looks so sweet.

The quilt could go borderless and look great. It could have the border and look great. That's my vote;)
Don't you love it when cats can sense something going on? Pretty cat by the way;)
Happy Quilting!!

The quilt top is lovely. Ad I do think brown would look good.

As for the paw on the belly, I also wonder how much Hank hears/feels. It's amazing how they know.

It was a striking quilt! What about a narrow border, and if you have enough, a binding of that dark brown with white dots? Just a thought! ---"Love"

It's a toss-up in my mind with a brown border, which I think would frame it nicely, and no border at all. I think you're going to have to do some auditioning to see what you like best, but I'm sure whatever you choose will look beautiful.

Gosh, that's come together very quickly! I looks great too. I think it's one of those quilts you need to take to the quilt shop and try all different colours against it - you might be surprised what you come up with!

Dear Hank looks quite possessive of your belly. :D

I like the quilt, it looks great. The brown would go nicely with it, either as a border or just binding.

Hank is quit a handsome kitty!

Like Joanne, I'd be happy to finish with a binding, even the orange would work. I will definitely be making one of these as it's a terrific pattern. Hank is quite the protective one and I'm sure baby could sense the purrs if he was close enough. ann...

Glad to see Hank is taking his job a guard cat seriously. LOL
You quilt came out fantastic..I probably would have used cream background or something, I love what you used. I agree that you should audition some fabrics, my initial thought was maybe a light brown border and then a dark brown binding. Looks good now too, so you don't have to have a border.

I love the quilt. I tend to agree with Beth. Hank is such a regal looking guy and being very protective.

i vote no borders... or two borders... a thin one and then a big one... and i support fuzzy fabric for the back!

Hi Love the quilt. I have never seen this design before. Must try it. Love the orange fabric. I have only used orange in pumpkins lol. I agree with no borders just binding.

I love the quilt top! I think a brown border would be terrific, but it is always hard to decide until you've got some fabric laid out.
Hank is too cute!!

I love it! the orange was a great choice. I agree - no borders. Or like Julie said a small, then a large. And maybe extend one side of each of the small borders to mimic your pattern. Does that make sense?
Love the cat pic too, so sweet.

My vote is brown! I am going to be joining the philly modern quilt guild this month. I hope that I will see this beautiful 'Pure' quilt in person :)
