Emily Hannah

I haven't posted anything on here in such a long time!! Here's a non-quilty post.

On Friday my water broke so off my hubby and I went to the hospital.  Emily Hannah was born Saturday morning, 5 weeks early.  She is doing well, but is in the NICU working on her feeding.  We're hoping and praying to get her home soon!!  :)

I hope all of my friends in blogland are doing well.  I'm not sure when I'll catch up, but hugs to you all!

Congratulations! She looks precious. Hope she gets to come home soon, but I know she couldn't get more love than from the NICU nurses. Hope she is nothing but blessings for you!

congrats!!!! You will be home before you know it! I know it's stressfull but try to enjoy the advice, guidance, and kindness of those nicu nurses. Nothing is too silly or stupid to ask.

We will send prayers that you all are home soon!

Congratulations to your and your husband! How exciting Emily is here, even if it is a little early. Emily is a beautiful name for a beautiful little girl! Hope she gains strength quickly and get to come home to her cozy new room. Take this time to get lots of rest yourself so you are feeling strong and healthy for when she gets to come home.

What a little sweetie! Don't you just love those little caps the preemies get to wear? My first grandson was very early too; weighed in at 3 lbs, 6 oz; lost down to 2 lbs, 9 oz., and was in the hospital almost a month. But today at age 17, he weighs almost 180 lbs! I know you are going through some trying days. I'm praying little Emily will be improving daily. Get all the rest you can; you will need it when you get to bring that precious little bundle home! ---"Love"

Oh, she is gorgeous! I know it is tough not to bring her home. I lost my second son to the NICU for a week after he was born. It was very difficult! But, touch her and stroke her and let her know just how much she is loved and she will come home to you all the sooner. Congratulations, you and your hubby made a beautiful baby!

Oh Christine!!! She's absolutely adorable!!! I was wondering why we hadn't heard from you. Guess she wanted to be a Halloween baby rather than a Thanksgiving one! Good for her!! Congrats to you all! Take care - please keep us updated. I'll be praying for her. Jenn
