Happy New Year! (just 1 month late)

Life has been moving along with its usual busy pace.  Emily got her 7th ear infection, so she had to have tubes put in yesterday.  Overall it wasn't too bad.  Here she is yesterday afternoon no worse for the wear-

I completed one quilt since my last post, for my husband's coworker.  I love it!  I bought enough fabric to remake it.  Who doesn't love Dr Seuss?!
My favorite part is the backing
I hope everyone's well!

Oh what a fun quilt! My how that baby girl has grown!! She's got the cutest curls too! My daughter had tubes put in at 2 years too and she was rip roaring to go when it was all said and done! Take care - Jenn

Emily is adorable, she is growing up so fast! Looks like she is having fun. I love the Dr. Seuss quilt, it is perfect for a little one. Enjoy your busy life, glad you are getting to do some quilting.

Emily will be happier without all those infections. ( So will Mom and Dad I am sure). I agree with Ann, how did she get so big so fast? She is just as adorable as ever. Enjoy.
Cute Seuss quilt. I bought the fabric, but it is still waiting for me to use it in a quilt.

What a gorgeous growing girlie!

Well done on making a quilt! I know how tricky that can be. :-)

Holy cow has Emily grown! And look at those curls! Such a cutie - I'm glad the tubes didn't cause her too much stress. And the Dr. Seuss quilt is so cute. One of these days I'm going to make one of those...maybe for me, maybe not...

What a doll! I'm sure getting the tubes in her ears wasn't as hard on her as it probably was on you.
