Here is "Elephant Stomp"
Then I made the page for my quilt scrap book. It was a milestone day- my 3" binder is full!! I have to start "volume 2".
I won't have long to oogle over the quilt as my hubby will bring it to the baby's father (his coworker) tomorrow. I always include washing instructions so the recipient isn't afraid to use the quilt. I can't stand the thought of a quilt sitting untouched.
The General and the T-shirt quilt go to the quilter on Tuesday so maybe I'll do some hand quilting on Fireside Chat. Its been a while. Or maybe I'll work on my APQ swap blocks and save my hands for all that binding that awaits me (416" on The General and 356" on the T-shirt quilt. Eeeek!). I better start stretching now!

If I had an odometer, I'd loan it to you for days like that! The quilt is fantastic! I'm sure it will be loved.
Love those little elephants! Your husband's co-worker will be thrilled tomorrow.

It's super cute! I love it.
Such a cute quilt and it came together really fast!
You just posted the fabric! The quilt is really cute. That is a lucky baby.
I could loan you some UFO's if you are out of stuff to do right now. LOL
Happy stitching.
Very cute! Those fabrics came together very well. Perfect name too. Care to name a few of my finishes for me? I also like your quilt washing instructions to be given with the quilt. I'll have to keep that idea tucked away.
Nice job on the quilt scrapbook. Do you scrapbook in general, or just for your quilt record?

Good grief! You finished that cute quilt before I could even catch up on reading/commenting on everyone's blogs! Congrats on filling your quilt scrap book. I love how your page looks. Are those actual fabric scraps? Do you write a little story about the pattern name, size, date, who gets it, etc.?
What a great idea that little washing instruction sheet is! I may borrow that wording with your permission. ---"Love"
Ahhh, the famous four patch! Nice! Makes a beautiful quilt.
Wow, you are just too busy! Love the Stomp! :) Theri
I thought the fabrics were adorable, but put together they are even better. Cute, simple idea for baby quilts! Your washing instructions are a great idea and the quilt history is perfect. So, just lately, when I see Stitch Niche pop up on my dashboard, why does the image of the "energizer bunny" pop into my head? Mary
What a great idea to journal about the quilt! It's just darling. I also love the idea of giving washing instructions.
Fantastic work Christine! I haven't event cut up my next baby quilt. It looks fabulous and the care instructions are such a good idea. I haven't even started a quilt journal. Sigh. Those bindings are going to be some work - but think of how delighted you'll be when they are done. Ann :-)
